Adam Pete born on August 5, 1966 in Tarnowskie Góry (Tarnowice) in Upper Silesia in what was then socialist/communist Poland.
In 1983, a group of ambitious artists formed around the painter Stanislaw Filipiak, who represented classical realism, and was given the name “Model”. Adam Pete became the youngest member as well as an unofficial student of the master. In 1984 followed his first solo exhibition in the foyer of the Cultural Center. Poems, drawings, watercolors as well as the first oil paintings such as “The Bus Stop” or “Running” were presented. In 1985 Adam Pete leaves Poland together with his family and moves to the Federal Republic of Germany.
The baroque city of Fulda, where his grandparents lived, with the abundance of its architectural and scenic treasures, became the inspiring motif of his watercolors and drawings for the early days in Germany, which he was able to present to the wider public at the exhibitions of the Fuldau Art Association. Thus he quickly made a name for himself in the region. In 1989 he graduated from the Ferdinand Braun School of Design in Fulda with a degree in ceramics. Civilian service in the care of the severely disabled, worth mentioning because the painter in one of his ordered to care for young paraplegic quadriplegic awakened and taught the interest, enthusiasm and fascination for drawing and painting, which seemed impossible to him. Since 1991, Adam Pete now devotes himself exclusively to painting and experimental art, together with the music and performance group he co-founded “Hübsche 1500 Polinnen” later “ASCHENBERG”. This was followed by a series of solo and group exhibitions in various cities in Germany and Europe, including Poland, Great Britain and Spain.
